New York Part 1

I really was not looking forward to turning 30, we can say I was really upset that the day was approaching. Then I got an idea. I've been wanting to see the Broadway play, "Wicked" for a while now, like 2 years. I really wanted to go to New York City. So what more could make a day I didn't want turn into a day I couldn't wait for, then a trip to the Big Apple. So my wonderful husband, and fabulous family made it all happen for me. Thank You Everyone!!!
We started our trip at the Empire State Building Time Square
Our Tour Bus, in Time Square.
We bought a week subway ticket, and a 3 day guided tour on a tour bus.
They were our transportation for the week.

What we went for. Wicked was everything I hoped it would be...
Very Classic Broadway... A Cute Story.

New York Part 2

The Set of "In the Heights"
I loved this play, Dare I say I loved it maybe even more then "Wicked"
It's about a boy named Usnavy, and his life
It had the best choreography, with hip hop and a little salsa,
and the music moved you... Usnavy would rap.
I don't know but, I loved itWe got tickets for the Late Show.. It was fun The show moved really fast
they did no retakes everything just keep going like on TV...
And David keeps the studio ice cold...
This is our pizza tour guide, we are in a shop were they make pizza ovens...
I thought this kid was so interesting... He had an idea one day to start giving pizza tours in
New York City. He rented a school bus, got his friends together for a birthday party of his, and they went around new york stopping at pizza's places, eating pizzza. From there he marked his idea to a few pizza shops, got on the internet, and next thing he new his rated one of the top things to do in new york... It was a good time. We ate at three different pizza shops in 3 hours.

In central park we "rented" a boy to peddle us around the park in his bike cart.
Now I know how the kids feel in my bike cart.

Of course you can't go to New York with out going to Lady Liberty

the lipstick

Now you might wonder how these things happen...
Too a beautiful blue eye girl as this, but I promise you
this is all her doing...
And it happens to be one of her favorite things to do... I don't know, but the more creative (stinker) my kids are the
funner I think they are, Does this make me a bad mom?
If she wasn't doing things like this... What would I be doing all day, Really
That would be pretty boring... I would have to tell stories about how my two year old is reading?!?
What fun would that be?

EWWW... GROSS

Yes this is what you think it is ...
My worse NIGHTMARE!!!
There is nothing I hate more then gum!!
I don't chew it... I don't let my children chew it.
It's BAD BAD BAD...
So how does this happen you say...
Well we Higley's are lovers of all parades,
especially the ones that throw candy... even gum..
And my incredible stubborn two year old wouldn't
let me have her bag... and look what I got.

Oooo. It makes me want to throw up just looking at the picture..

The Fair

I love two year olds, becaue she has no idea that her ice cream
is much much much small than Kurts she's just glad
she got some.

All Kurt wanted at the fair was this ice cream
he kept seeing people eating it
you can see why...
now isn't that a happy face...
